Let's get better together! We're looking for you to suggest and vote on your most-requested features. With your help, we want to turn today's good product into next school year's great product!
Add a memo/comment field for every teacher
Add a "memo" or "comment" field for every teacher, that would allow miscellaneous notes of any type (including numbers). This could contain room numbers, building names, hallway locations, or even grade-level reminders (all of which might leverage numbers).
Reduce scrolling in Caseload Editor
I would love to have tabs at the top or on the side of the "edit caseload" page (ex. one for each of the subheadings like buildings, teachers, teachers, class schedules, etc.). It is so much to scroll through up and down the way it is now and would make it faster for me to make changes, especially at the beginning of the year.
This feature has been completed, and is now live on slpscheduler.com. The new version of the Caseload Editor now contains a tabbed interface, with sections for each logical area. The need for scrolling is much reduced.
Please let us know what you think!
Add CSV/Excel/spreadsheet result format
I am wondering if there is a way to generate a report listing of student, teachers, and scheduled times into a CSV program or similar.
provide a search feature
I just found out that some of my teachers have added specials to their schedules - schedules I have already entered numerous times for my 64 client caseload! I would like to see a search feature, where I could type in the criteria (for instance, the teacher's name, the student's name, or something like that) and the engine would bring up all the instances of that request so I wouldn't have to scroll through 64 different kids to find the ones that need updating.
Since SLP Scheduler is designed to run within a browser on any device, this feature is already provided by your browser. More information can be found here: How do I search within my caseload?
Hopefully, you'll need to do less searching to start with, with the implementation of the following feature: Simplify caseload entry when multiple students have same availability restrictions
Add way to get credits for referring friends/coworkers
Would be nice if there were a way to get credits (discounts) on the service for referring friends or coworkers
Implement 'Bump' feature to increment grade levels in caseload
Implement the feature that:
- update school year dates to next year
- increments the grade numbers of all students in the caseload
- removes any primary classroom teachers
- removes any student-specific availability entries
- graduates (removes) all 12th graders
This function is done at the beginning of a school year when updating last year's data for this year.
This feature has been implemented, and will be pushed to the servers tonight.
There is now a "bump" caseload transformation that performs the above-listed operations.
Add iCal result format
Right now, results can only be displayed in text in HTML (for viewing on the web/mobile browser). Add an iCal result format, so that a schedule can be a static iCal download (which you download once and can edit as part of your regular calendar).
I'm pleased to report that this feature has been completed and is now live on slpscheduler.com. The execution page for any active schedules should have new buttons to "Export calendar". Please send feedback to help@slpscheduler.com.
Thanks!
Add clickable scheduler to ease entering availability entries
A weekly calendar that allows you to click in 5 minute increments when a grade or class is unavailable.
Ex: Click 9:15-9:45, 11:30-12:15, and 2:45-3:15 on Monday to indicate those times are not preferred. Then hover over each one to select "not prefer" or "must not".
Daily rotation model
Would love to see a daily rotation model to use with my articulation students.
Flexibility with maximum group size
Have the ability to override maximum group size in the event of push-in or other model that would warrant wanting more students in a single session
