Add the concept of a "category" to each student, and separate groups based on categories

Jonathan (Founder) 9 years ago updated 8 years ago 3

This is a request to add the concept of a category. It can be anything, and it can have any number of options.

For example, a category for first language:

  • English
  • Spanish

Each student in the caseload would choose one item from the category. The scheduler would keep students having different categories separated.

This is related to the following other feature requests:

I'm pleased to announce that this feature has been added to SLP Scheduler!  You'll now see the concept of Categories within the caseload editor.

Example category:  Bilingual

  • Yes
  • No

Example category:  First/Dominant Language

  • Spanish
  • English
  • French

You can define whatever categories you like, and you can also define the list of possible values.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Show exactly what parts of a generated schedule don't respect the "Prefer" and "Prefer Not" availability entries

Jonathan (Founder) 9 years ago updated 9 years ago 2

Right now, there's no indication to the user which parts of a generated schedule don't respect the "Prefer" and "Prefer Not" availability entries. This would be very useful so the therapist knows exactly what sessions might need to be tweaked after the fact.

This has been implemented with the following new feature:

Show exactly what parts of a generated schedule don't respect the "Prefer" and "Prefer Not" availability entries

Please note that you still need to use "Prefer Not" (not "Must Not") if you still want non-optimal schedules (with conflicts highlighted). For more info, please see Hard constraints vs. soft constraints.

The part about editing one of the resultant non-ideal schedules can still be done, but needs to be done manually.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Add way to update credit card used in auto-renewals

Jonathan (Founder) 9 years ago updated 8 years ago 2

Right now, customers who are enrolled in auto-renew have no way to update their credit card. Would be nice if there were a way to do that without contacting Support or letting the old card fail.

Add global option to avoid scheduling single-session students on Mondays

asDLLM 4 weeks ago updated by Jonathan (Founder) 4 weeks ago 1

Because there are so many holidays and teacher workdays on mondays, I want to keep once-weekly students from being scheduled on mondays without having to put must not mondays in each student. a one-click option would be nice!

Add clickable scheduler to ease entering availability entries

robledomar 1 year ago updated by Jonathan (Founder) 4 weeks ago 1

A weekly calendar that allows you to click in 5 minute increments when a grade or class is unavailable.
Ex: Click 9:15-9:45, 11:30-12:15, and 2:45-3:15 on Monday to indicate those times are not preferred. Then hover over each one to select "not prefer" or "must not".

robledomar 1 year ago updated by Jonathan (Founder) 4 weeks ago 1

The ability to import student names, teacher, and grade from a spreadsheet would cut down on hours of time.

Different Buildings Have Different schedule for lunch and recess

Brooke 2 years ago updated by Jonathan (Founder) 2 years ago 1

Hello,

My different buildings have different lunch and recess schedules that apply to all grades in the building. I'm looking for the easiest way to indicate this. I think the option to select all grades under grade schedule would work best.
